What is BARGE?

BARGE (Basic Action Roleplaying Game Engine) is a fast-paced, cooperative, tabletop role-playing game system, inspired by tactical strategy video games, trading card games and alternative takes on d20 based tabletop role-playing games.

No Stats, No Modifiers. Fast Dice Rolls and Faster Resolution, so you can skip the math and get back to the game.

A flexible feat based character progression system, so you can take the stuff you want and leave out the rest.

Characters interact with each other's skills, spells and abilities. So you can overcome much more than you could alone.

What Makes BARGE Different?

Dynamic Initiative

Turn order reacts and changes to the action on the battlefield and you don't always need to wait your turn.

Active Defense

Most attacks always hit. You have to defend yourself, not hope a monster rolls low.

Pre-Luck Dice Pool

You always know what your character can do from the start of the round. As long as you have dice, you have hope.

Skills, Not Stats

Every skill point matters! Experts feel like experts and novices feel like novices.
